AltX is a two-sided platform that aims to bring hedge fund managers and investors together. When I joined the company the product was no more than a prototype, and my job was to help bring it to market.
We started by working with an outside firm on branding and overall visual language for the product. Since a lot of financial applications out audience was used looked very old and outdated, we wanted to differentiate ourselves by having a polished and modern look and feel. That alone made a huge impact with our first beta users and customers. I also worked on redesigning the navigation of the product, and tackling usability issues that we had in multiple flows and interfaces. This process was extremely iterative, and we successfully implemented small changes every two weeks.
